I moved to Ocala, Florida in 1995 when my husband, Dr. Ron Cooper, accepted a position teaching in the Humanities and Social Sciences Division at CFCC. I began teaching Technical Communications and Freshmen Composition I and II as an adjunct faculty member then joined CFCC as a fulltime faculty member in 2003.

Before I moved to Ocala, I was the senior technical writer at Raytheon, (formerly E-Systems, ECI Division) a fortune 500 defense contractor in St. Petersburg, FL.

Dr. Cooper and I have three children.
