ENC 1102 Freshman Composition Skills II

This course is an introduction to the basic concepts used in reading literature and in writing about literature. Specifically, the course explores the three principal literary genres--fiction, poetry, drama--and the terms that apply to an understanding of how to read those genres. Also it builds on the compositional skills introduced in ENC 1101 by its requirements of a literary research assignment and other writing assignments.
