CF International Film Series Presents 'Buck'
Feb. 18, 2014
The College of Central Florida International Film Series will present “Buck,” a poignant documentary about acclaimed horse whisperer Buck Brannaman.
The 2011 film, which is rated PG, will be shown Tuesday, March 11, at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., and at 7 p.m. in Building 8, Room 110, at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.
Directed by Cindy Meehl, “Buck” examines the life of Brannaman, who recovered from years of child abuse to become an expert in the interactions between horses and people. Brannaman became so skilled at communicating with horses that he traveled the country leading equine seminars.
At the Appleton, viewers pay museum admission unless they are a museum member or a patron of the CF International Film Series. Series membership is $15 for individuals, $25 for dual membership and includes a bonus film each year. For information about membership, call 352-873-5808. The viewing is free at CF.
