CF International Film Series Presents 'Tomboy'

The College of Central Florida International Film Series will present “Tomboy,” a 2011 drama.
The contemporary film will be shown Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., and at 7 p.m. in Building 8, Room 110, at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.
Directed by Celine Sciamma, “Tomboy” depicts the story of a 10-year-old girl settling at her new summer home outside of Paris. After she is mistaken for a boy, she develops a new identity within the neighborhood. The 82-minute film is not rated and contains French and English subtitles.
At the Appleton, viewers pay museum admission unless they are a museum member or a patron of the CF International Film Series.
