The Sustainability Task Force was formed in 2005 to explore ways of reducing CF’s environmental footprint. The group of faculty, students, staff and administrators work to promote sustainability on campus and beyond. The Task Force is now focusing on campus recycling and increasing awareness through a Web presence.

One of the most exciting new national developments in the sustainability movement is the recent creation of The SEED Center. The SEED Center (Sustainability Education & Economic Development) is a collaborative commitment and partnership among hundreds of community colleges aimed at promoting sustainability education, green economic development, and best green practices nationally. College of Central Florida is a charter member of this new AACC sponsored initiative. Please take the opportunity to visit the new SEED Center website where you will find a wealth of information on a large variety of sustainability topics. The website will also be the location for a number of informative webinars, all available free of charge.
