His eyes willing every breath from her body as they

His body shook uncontrollably, as he relished the pain
He caused; while she fought desperately for her life
In an entangled battle, between the predator and the
Hunted.

Minutes passed, and as they passed, life itself slowed.
She could her the tick tock of her watch, even the sound of
Her heart, as it started to fade after each beat.

Then it ended.
She watched as her body was stuffed into
A garbage disposal, its lifeless eyes gazing
At its murderer.
Finally, she watched the man leave; already searching
For his next victim.
