How fortunate we are when life throws us a second chance, and I consider myself especially fortunate to have had a second go-round as Editor of Imprints. Doing so has afforded me the opportunity to once again dive into my passion for designing and editing print. And there could not have been a more phenomenal staff — we just absolutely fed off one another’s ideas. What fun we had. In this volume we focused on the theme, “Messages.” We hope you will extract your own private message from the stories, poems, and art we have offered, and in the words of poet Li-Young Lee, “experience the condition of aweness.” |
