
Hampton Center
The Hampton Community Outreach and Preventive Health Center at 1501 W. Silver Springs Blvd. includes approximately 14,000 square feet of classroom and laboratory space, as well as client service areas. The facility houses a business certificate program in Medical Coding and two of the college's Health and Human Services programs including the Physical Therapy Assistant Program and Dental Assisting program, which is a collaborative project with the Marion County Health Department and the University of Florida.
The facility houses the CF Institute's continuing education health programs including:
- Phlebotomy
- Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program
- IV Certification
- Refresher and Remediation for RN’s and LPN’s
- LPN Supervisory Certification
- American Heart Association CPR programs
- Critical Emergency Technician Training
- Home Health Aid Certification
- EMT and Paramedic Refresher Courses
- Health professional licensure renewal courses
Continuing Education health programs lead to certification for entry level health care positions, courses for licensure renewal, and refresher and remediation courses for RN’s and LPN’s. We are an AHA training center providing CPR, first aid, and AED training for businesses and health care professionals.
The new CFCC Hampton Center re-opened in February 2004 on the site of the former Fire College. The CFCC Hampton Center is the first of its kind funded in the Southeast by the U.S. Department of Commerce/Economic Development Administration with matching funds from the Florida Legislature.
