Collegiate Advancement Program

The Collegiate Advancement Program (CAP) is a pilot program for students in grades 6 through 12 who were formerly enrolled in the College Reach-Out Program (CROP). The focus of this program is to ensure students transitioning from middle to high school and from high school to a postsecondary level are college ready; the definition of college ready means that a student will be ready to enroll in a college level course without the need of remediation. CAP will focus on academic excellence with parental involvement. .

Shop Talk

Shop Talk is designed to educate African-American women about the need for regular screening, early detection and healthy lifestyles in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer through workshops and cultural programs. Shop Talk enlists community cosmetologists to serve as liaisons to the community. This program is supported by Ocala Royal Dames for Cancer Research.
