50 Most Popular Plants
of Marion County
With the help of local wholesale and retail nurseries the Environmental Horticulture Department has compiled a list of the 50 most popular plants found in Marion County. These plants are the most used plants in Central Florida landscapes as well as the most popular plants sold in both the retail and wholesale industry. This list has been compiled to help the homeowner identify plants they have in their landscape, or just furnish information that will aid in the development of a more useful landscape. Special thanks to B& B Nurseries, Kingswood Nurseries, and Porters' Nursery and Landscape for helping compile this list.
