Central Florida Community College Celebrates
International Education Week
November 12 - 16, 2007

International Education Week (IEW) is November 12 - 16, 2007 and there are many activities across Central Florida Community College to celebrate this important week!

IEW is an opportunity to celebrate diversity, raise global awareness, and to highlight the benefits of International Education and Exchange worldwide.  This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

Currently, CFCC has sixty-seven (67) International Students on campus from over twenty (20) different countries.  Every year many CFCC students participate in study abroad opportunities.  In addition, CFCC hosts international scholars and visitors annually and many faculty and administrators travel abroad for research, recruitment, and professional development.  Finally, many student clubs and staff organizations celebrate the important diversity that is a part of CFCC’s daily life.

Club ActivityCFCC International Education Programs Office encourages participation of all students, faculty, and staff in the important activities planned for International Education Week.
