Passport
Be sure to keep your passport in a safe place. It is your most important document. Most passports are good for a limited period of time. The passport must be valid for at least six months into the future at all times while enrolled as a student. It is your responsibility to remember when it will expire and contact the nearest Consulate. It usually takes at least six weeks for a passport to be renewed, so be sure to allow enough time. Remember that when your passport expires, you are in this country illegally and are subject to deportation. Don't let this happen.
