Dr. Edward J. NiespodzianyDr. Niespodziany is the Program Manager and a principle faculty member for CF’s Engineering Technology A.S degree program, QUALITY specialization. Dr. Niespodziany’s experiences with a wide variety of technology started while he attended Vocational High School. By graduation he had learned to operate lathes and punch-tape CNC milling machines, build radios and fix TV’s, bend conduit and wire houses, repair industrial motors, design and install telephone systems.

Dr. Niespodziany’s work experiences include having worked on RADAR and naval gunfire control computers while serving in the U.S. Navy, as an Electronic Technician on Army helicopter radio Transceivers for GTE Sylvania, he has taught Statistical Process Control (S.P.C.) in ford automotive plants all over Indiana and Illinois and held positions as a Design Engineer and a Quality Control Engineer at an electronic devices manufacturing company in Clearwater, Florida.

Dr. Niespodziany has been teaching at College of Central Florida for over 17 years , has an A+ certification in Computer Technology and is a Certified Production Technician by the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC). He received the Post- Secondary Educator of the Year award of 2008 from the Florida Advanced Technological Education Center (FLATE).



Robert Frank

Robert FrankRobert Frank is an Assistant Professor and secondary faculty member for CF’s engineering Technology A.S degree program, QUALITY specialization. Mr. Frank’ professional career as a practicing engineer included positions ranging from computer network engineer to systems analysis. As a project engineer, he is experiences in coordinating and monitoring project assignments in process improvement and control, plant inspection, and plant operations development. He also advised and lead management in the application of new technologies.

Working in industrial manufacturing environments, Mr. Frank focused on formalizing processes and emphasizing lean manufacturing. He has implemented technologies using Allen Bradley Siemens Programmable Logic Controller’s, Rockwell Automation, and Human Machine Interfacing (SQL), Stored procedures, Triggers, Query Statements, Database Replication and Data warehousing, Crystal Reports, Java, and HTML.

Mr. Frank has been teaching at College of Central Florida for 5 years and holds the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Professional Trainer, Oracle: SQL and PL/SQL, ASQ: Six Sigma Certified Quality Engineer, and Manufacturing Skills Standard Certified.
