About Me
My name is Lorraine Gerrity, and all my students call me Ms. Lorraine. I graduated from
Mr. Joseph’s School of Cosmetology in 1989 and from College of Central Florida’s Barber Program in 2003.
Teaching is my passion and I have had the pleasure of being part of CF for 5 years. The Evening Barbering and Cosmetology Programs are my “pride and joy”. The attrition rate in our classes is very low and our success with the State Board Exams is very high. My personal beliefs are to teach with motivation, and always remember that learning can be fun.
I admire people like Ron Clark, Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Phil, and if I could arrange a dinner party, these are the people I’d like to spend time with. Those with positive energy, motivation and integrity....
Remember.... Excuses just keep you stuck....I don’t believe in them.
