Tools and Supplies

As a student in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program, you will be required to purchase certain books, materials, tools, and supplies. The following is a partial list of some of the things that are required and when you will need them.

First day :

Text book - Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology
No. 2 pencils, pens, high-lighter
Calculator
Three ring binder with note paper
Safety glasses

As the class progresses, the student will be required to purchase tools as needed - such as a pocket thermometer, usually by week two. When we get to unit five of our text book we will be discussing the tools of the trade. At that time, the students will be given a list of basic hand tools that will be required by the employer when they get a job. At this time, the students should start to collect the tools on the list so that they do not have to purchase them all at one time.
