The CLM is available to students who have taken the ACT Math and earned a score of 19 or higher, and to students who have taken the SAT Math with a score of 440 or higher. (Students who have taken the CPT since November 2007 were automatically given the CLM if they achieved a 95 or higher on the CPT Algebra section.)
The CLM can place high achieving math students in the appropriate college-level math course.
Register for the CLM by calling (352) 854-2322, ext. 1564. Initial testing costs $10.00 and requires students to bring the same materials needed for the CPT (see previous column). Retakes are available for $5.00 and may be taken every 31 days.
