CF Students to Hold 5K Run to Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness

The Student Activities Board at College of Central Florida will hold a 5K Benefit Run on Saturday, Oct. 20, in support of breast cancer research. Hunter from WIND-FM is the celebrity chairperson.

The third annual run will be held at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 8 a.m. The entry fee is $20 if registered by Wednesday, Oct. 17, and $25 after that date or at the event. The first 50 registered participants will receive a free T-shirt.

Runners can register online at www.active.com; search SAB. Registration forms are also available and can be dropped off in the CF Office of Student Life, Bryant Student Union, Room 201, at the Ocala Campus.

Proceeds will be contributed to the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa and Michelle-O-Gram, which funds mammograms for Marion, Citrus and Levy women who cannot afford them.
