“I can’t imagine my life without my art. It keeps me balanced,” said Partin. “I have called this the ‘Green Dragon Collection’ as the two signature pieces are finished in green dragon glaze and are adorned with dragon decoration. The dragon thread is woven throughout my life. I was born in the year of the dragon, our company is called Dragonworks, and in some circles I am known as the Dragon Lady.”

Partin lives in Homosassa, has worked for the Citrus County School Board for 22 years and has taught pottery with the CF Institute for 15 years. In her 40 years as a potter, she has won numerous awards, including Best in Show. She also spins, weaves and makes hot glass beads and fused glass.
