CFCC to Offer Life, Health, Variable Annuities Course

The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is accepting registration for its Life, Health and Variable Annuities course, which begins Monday, Aug. 4.

This state-approved 40-hour course is the prelicensing requirement for all life, health and variable annuity insurance agents, and will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each Saturday through Aug. 21. The classes will be held at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. The course fee is $310. The textbook is available locally at Eager-1 Marketing, located at 2935 S.E. 58 Ave. It may be purchased via the Web at www.faifa.org.

The course will expose students to various phases of life, health and variable annuities. Some of the topics covered include federal and state regulations, legal concepts of the insurance contract, and life and health insurance annuities.
