CF Accepting Applications for Community Arts Partners
Dec. 16, 2013
The College of Central Florida is accepting applications for its 2014-2015 Community Arts Partners program through Feb. 6.
The program allows local arts organizations to hold performances at other events in the Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center or the Appleton Museum of Art for a free or reduced rate.
“The review committee is looking forward to reviewing applications for the 2014-2015 year and is hoping to see some innovative projects proposed from both emerging and long-standing local arts organizations,” said Dr. Jennifer Fryns, associate dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences. “We were very excited last year to name Belleview High School, the Ocala Storytelling Festival and the Ocala Symphony Orchestra as our Community Arts Partners for the 2013-2014 year.”
To be eligible for the partnership, an organization must be non-profit. Preference will be given to local performing arts organizations, but other types of arts organizations will also be considered.
