Professor Inducted Into Hall of Fame

Gary Ashlock, professor of Environmental Sciences at Central Florida Community College, has been inducted into the Trinity Valley Community College Hall of Fame Class of 2009. He was recognized in October at the college in Athens, Texas. In 12 seasons as head coach of the Lady Cardinal basketball team (1978-1990), Ashlock produced five conference championships and piloted TVCC to the three national tournament appearances in 1980-1982. He is the school's all-time winningest women's coach with a 281-96 record.
