Musical Theatre Ensemble to Present 'Children of Eden'

The College of Central Florida Musical Theatre Ensemble will present “Children of Eden” by Stephen Schwartz and John Caird. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20, in the Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.

“The production is loosely based on the first four chapters of Genesis and is about parents, children and faith,” said Matthew Bumbach, director of the CF Musical Theatre Ensemble. “It has a story that everyone can relate to. We have all either been children trying to make our own way in the world or parents struggling with the thought of letting those children go.”
