Learn Chinese Language at CFCC

The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is accepting registration for a Beginner’s Chinese course that starts Aug. 2. The noncredit course will meet 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays through Sept. 13 at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. The course fee is $89.

The course will cover the features of the Chinese language and most effective way to learn the language. Students will learn Pinyin, or Chinese phonetics, in order to read Chinese words in English publications and informational signs in China. The course will also cover Chinese characters, basic conversations, cultural information and etiquette.
