CF to Host Art of Mary Aiuto at Citrus Campus

The College of Central Florida will host the art of Mary Aiuto at the Citrus Campus in February.

Aiuto has been a resident of Citrus County since 1991. She began her career in the advertising industry, working with VIP Advertising in New York on ad, storyboard and logo design.

In Citrus County, she has worked as a visual display manager, art instructor, and plant administrator for printing production. She has designed logos for several Citrus County businesses, painted scenery for Playhouse 19 and an interactive display mural for Citrus County Visitors and Convention Bureau. She has donated paintings in support of Taste of CF, a college scholarship fundraiser for Citrus County students.

The exhibit opens Monday, Feb. 4, and runs through Feb. 28 in the upstairs exhibition hall in the Dorothea G. Jerome Building, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway in Lecanto. A reception will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Exhibit hours are 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday. The exhibit is closed weekends. There is no charge to attend the exhibition or the opening, which are made possible by the CF Foundation and the Institute for Community Advancement.
