New Courses at CFCC Citrus Campus

Central Florida Community College will offer two new courses beginning in September at the Citrus Campus, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway.
Conversational Spanish will meet Mondays, Sept. 8 through Oct. 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Building L, 201A. The course will provide students with a general understanding of basic Spanish with a focus on speaking, rather than on grammar. Students will learn basic vocabulary for conversational Spanish and learn about Hispanic culture. The course fee is $45.
Interacting with World Religions will meet Wednesdays, Sept. 4 through 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Building 92, Room 101. The goal of this class is to get students to think logically and become educated about world religions. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and voice their opinions. This first section will cover Judaism, Messianic Judaism, Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy and Protestantism. Additional religions will be covered in future courses. The fee is $35.
