Register Now for Kayak Courses

Central Florida Community College Citrus Campus will offer two kayak courses in February.

Introduction to Kayaking will meet Monday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon, and will focus on the basic skills of kayaking. The course will meet at Riversport Kayaks at the Riverside Resort, 5297 S. Cherokee Way, Homosassa. The course fee of $35 includes all equipment.

Kayak Fishing Tour will meet on two Saturdays, Feb. 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. and Feb. 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., also at Riversport Kayaks. The first session will provide instruction and the second session is a four-hour fishing trip. The $50 fee includes kayak equipment. Students will need to provide their own fishing gear.
