A Course for Everyone at Citrus Campus

Continuing Education at Central Florida Community College has a course for everyone at the Citrus Campus, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.

  • Antiques and Collectibles, Wednesdays, Jan. 27 to Feb. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Citrus Learning and Conference Center, Room 103. The fee is $40. This beginning course will acquaint students with what is and what is not considered an antique or collectible. Learn about the various elements of furniture, glassware, china, pottery, silver and more.
  • Senior Computers I, Fridays, Jan. 29 to Feb. 12, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Dorothea G. Jerome Building, Room 201B. The fee is $40. Learn computer basics in a class designed especially for the senior learner.
  • Creative Fiction Writing I, Thursdays, Jan. 28 to Feb. 11, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Citrus Learning and Conference Center, Room 105. The fee is $45. Examine how to come up with a blockbuster idea, elements of plotting conflict and suspense, character development, dialogue and point of view.
