Public Speaking, Notary Courses at Citrus Campus

Register now for workforce related Continuing Education courses at the Central Florida Community College Citrus Campus, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.

  • Public Speaking Pointers, Monday, Jan. 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Citrus Learning and Conference Center, Room 103. The fee is $99. Learn the nuts and bolts of public speaking, including great beginnings and happy endings, how to face your fears, what you need to know to be effective when you speak, how to organize what you will talk about, and 10 tips for successful public speaking.
  • Notary,Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Citrus Learning and Conference Center, Room 103. The course fee is $99 and includes a Florida Notary Handbook. This state-approved three-hour course is required for all individuals seeking to obtain a Florida notary commission. Students will receive a class completion certificate that must accompany the application for a new notary commission. The course is also recommended as a refresher for veteran notaries.
