Learn eBay, Excel, Accounting and More at Ocala Campus

The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is accepting registration for computer courses.

  • Selling on eBay, Thursday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour break. The fee is $179 and includes the textbook. The course will provide a comprehensive look on how to sell on eBay the right way.
  • Microsoft Excel 2003 for Beginners, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Feb. 1-5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fee is $119. Learn to create new spreadsheets, then edit, format and print them.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping Basics, Tuesdays, Feb. 2 through March 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. The course fee is $109. The course will cover the main types of accounting information and reports, forms of business ownership, fundamental concepts of accounting, transaction analysis, the accounting process and more.
  • QuickBooks Fundamentals, Tuesdays, Feb. 9-23, from 6 to 8 p.m. The fee is $99. Learn how to set up a company and perform basic functions required to account for transactions encountered in most small businesses. Required text sold separately: QuickBooks Pro 2008 Level 1 by Trisha Hakola.
