Discussion Groups Set for Belleview, Dunnellon Libraries

The Senior Institute at Central Florida Community College will offer a free weekly Discussion Group program in Belleview and Dunnellon in partnership with Marion County Extension, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.

The Discussion Group will be offered at the Belleview Public Library, 13145 S.E. Highway 484, on Thursdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and at the Dunnellon Public Library, 20351 Robinson Road, on Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon. Registration is required and can be completed by calling 352-671-8400.

Mark your calendar for these sessions: Older Adults and Adult Children: Important Conversations, Feb. 11 in Belleview, Feb. 19 in Dunnellon; Keeping Organized Records, Feb. 18 in Belleview, Feb. 26 in Dunnellon; The Conservation Balancing Act, Feb. 25 in Belleview, March 5 in Dunnellon; Healthy Home Essentials, March 4 in Belleview, March 12 in Dunnellon; Storm Preparedness and Recovery, March 11 in Belleview, March 19 in Dunnellon.

The Discussion Group program is offered as part of the Plus 50 Initiative of CFCC, the American Association of Community Colleges and the Atlantic Philanthropies. While not restricted to seniors, the programs are targeted to seniors 50 and better.
