CFCC Invites Students to ‘Get Amped Up About Energy’

Central Florida Community College invites students to get “Amped Up About Energy” this summer.
The college will offer two sessions of a summer camp for rising eighth and ninth graders who enjoy learning about mathematics and science. Students will enjoy hands-on activities and experiments.
Two four-day sessions of the camp will meet 8 a.m. to noon daily at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. Session one will meet Monday through Thursday, June 16-19. Session two will meet Monday through Thursday, June 23-26.
The fee for each session is $10 and includes a field trip on Friday, June 20, to the Progress Energy Nuclear Training Center in Crystal River. Transportation will be provided with the bus departing at 8 a.m. and returning at 4 p.m.
