CFCC Recognizes Faculty

Central Florida Community College has announced faculty promotions and achievement of continuing contracts. The instructors were recognized at the April meeting of the CFCC District Board of Trustees.

“Students benefit when faculty are fully dedicated to learning,” said Dr. Cheryl Fante, associate vice president for Career and Technical Education. “The college is fortunate to have such a dedicated group.”

Faculty who have advanced in rank for 2008-2009 are: Jana Bernhardt, professor; Patrick Fleming, professor; Dr. Kenneth Capps, associate professor; Sandra Cooper, associate professor; Jane Hoesterey, associate professor; Dr. James Manley, associate professor; Dr. Cassandra Robison, associate professor, James Roe, associate professor; Dr. Peter D. Smith, associate professor; Kathleen Dismuke, assistant professor; Robert Marino, assistant professor; and Dennis Radice, assistant professor.

Faculty approved for continuing contract include Verne Ayers, Dr. Judy Downer, Robert Frank, Lorraine Gerrity, Patricia Hooker, Thanease Roberts, Gregory Ruffer, Dr. Sarah Satterfield and Dr. Tamara Viviano.
