International Film Series Presents 'The 400 Blows'

The Central Florida Community College International Film Series will present the 1959 film "The 400 Blows” on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
This landmark film introduces the character of Antoine Doinel, played by Jean-Pierre Leaud, as the 12-year-old boy left to his own devices in an indifferent adult world. This uncompromising film is the winner of innumerable awards. It is in French with English subtitles.
The film will be shown at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art of Central Florida Community College, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., and at 7 p.m. in Building 8, Room 110, at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. The viewing is free at CFCC. At the Appleton, viewers must pay museum admission unless they are museum members or patrons of the CFCC International Film Series.
