CF Film Series Presents 'Le Grande Voyage'

The College of Central Florida International Film Series will present “Le Grande Voyage” on Tuesday, Jan. 10. The film will be shown at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., and at 7 p.m. at the CF Ocala Campus in Building 8, Room 110, 3001 S.W. College Road.
Released in 2004, “La Grande Voyage” follows a Muslim father and reluctant son as they travel by car on a religious pilgrimage to Mecca from France. While distant from one another at first, the two gradually come together and learn more about each other. The film stars Nicolas Cazale, Mohamed Majd and Jacky Nercessian. This film is 102 minutes and is unrated.
At the Appleton, viewers pay museum admission unless they are a museum member or a patron of the CF International Film Series.
