CF to Hold Holocaust Remembrance Event

The College of Central Florida will hold “Holocaust Remembrance: The Service of Memory” on Thursday, April 19.

The Yom Hashoah, or Holocaust Remembrance Day event, will be held 12:30 to 1 p.m. near the Bell Tower at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. CF Director of International Education Ramona Kirsch and Rabbi Ze’ev Harari from Temple Beth Shalom will conduct the moments of silence, remembrance and recognition.

"Not only will we honor Yom Hashoah, but also will recognize victims of other genocides around the world and the need for tolerance and understanding in today’s society,” Kirsch said.
