Basic Birding Class at Levy Center

If you want to learn more about the birds you see every day in our area, the Central Florida Community College Levy Center is offering a four-hour birding class.
Birding Basics is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 12, and will meet at the Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd. in Chiefland, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Weather permitting, a brief nature walk will be included. Please bring binoculars and field guides if you have them. The course fee is $15 per person. Couples may register for $25.
