Small Business Development Series at Levy Center

The College of Central Florida Levy Center will offer a Small Business Development Series beginning in September for potential, new and experienced business owners.

“We are excited to offer this slate of seminars, which has been developed to promote small business development and growth in Levy County,” said Marilyn Ladner, Levy Center provost. “Individuals can take the complete series or just the seminars that are relevant to their business.”

Classes will be held at the Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd. in Chiefland, and include Business Fundability, QuickBooks Comprehensive, Simple Steps to Growing Your Business, Social Media Basics for Business, What Business Should I Start, and more. Some meet one time, others over several weeks. Fees vary and a few are free.

Resource partners for the series are the Florida Small Business Development Council at the University of North Florida, Levy County Enterprise Zone, Levy County Visitors Bureau, Nature Coast Business Development Council Inc., SCORE of Gainesville, and CLM Workforce Connection.
