Levy Center to Offer Computer Fundamentals Course

The College of Central Florida Levy Center will offer Computer Fundamentals beginning in February. The class will meet Mondays, Feb. 6 through March 5, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd., Chiefland.

This beginner’s class is designed for the person who has little or no experience with computers. Students will learn computer hardware and software terminology, how to turn on the computer, use a mouse, drop-down menus and toolbars. They will become familiar with the keyboard and work with files and folders. The class also covers searching the Internet, and sending and receiving email. The course fee is $119.
