Explore Wildlife Refuge on CFCC Field Trip

The Central Florida Community College Levy Center is accepting registration for its Ecotourism Field Trip to the Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On this guided trip, participants will tour the Shell Mound Unit, the Cedar Key Museum State Park and the Southern Cross Clam Farm. Lunch will be on your own in Cedar Key with time to visit a gallery or two. Participants will receive a map of the Lower Suwannee Nature Drive which they can enjoy on the return drive.

Participants will convene at the Levy Center at 114 Rodgers Blvd. in Chiefland at 9 a.m. and will caravan/car pool to the various destinations.

The field trip is open to the public. The fee is $49 and includes all park/museum admission fees. Registration deadline is noon, Wednesday, Feb. 17. Register in person at the Levy Center, by calling 352-493-9533 or online at www.CFCCtraining.com (select Levy noncredit catalog).
