Levy Center to Offer QuickBooks

The Central Florida Community College Levy Center will offer a new, three-week introductory course to QuickBooks, the small business financial software, on Tuesdays from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. beginning Jan. 19.
Students will learn how to set up a company and perform the basic functions required to account for transactions encountered in most small businesses: setting up company files, invoicing customers and paying vendors. Participants will also learn how to create and generate reports using QuickBooks.
The course fee is $99. The textbook, “QuickBooks Pro 2009 Level I” by Trisha Hakola, published by Labyrinth Learning, must be purchased separately and costs about $27.
