CF Levy Center to Offer QuickBooks

The College of Central Florida will offer QuickBooks Comprehensive as part of its Small Business Development Series at the Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd. in Chiefland.

The course will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 24 through Oct. 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. The fee is $109. Students will learn how to set up and maintain a QuickBooks company. They will learn about customer invoices, vendor bills, inventory, sales taxes, banking activity and reconciling, payroll, reports available from QuickBooks, and much more.

Additional sessions in the Small Business Development Series include Business Fundability, Simple Steps to Starting Your Business, Simple Steps to Growing Your Business, and more. Some meet one time, others over several weeks. Fees vary and a few are free. 

Resource partners for the series are the Florida Small Business Development Council at the University of North Florida, Levy County Enterprise Zone, Levy County Visitors Bureau, Nature Coast Business Development Council Inc., SCORE of Gainesville, and Workforce Connection of Citrus, Levy and Marion counties.
