Learn How to Quilt with CF Levy Center

The College of Central Florida Levy Center will offer the opportunity to learn basic quilting techniques in January. The class will be held at the Levy County Quilt Museum, 11050 N.W. 10th Ave., Chiefland.
Participants will create a nine-patch baby quilt under the instruction of award-winning quilter Ailien Kooi. Learn the cutting, sewing and assembly process all the way to the finished product. No previous experience is required.
Classes will meet on Mondays, Jan. 23 through Feb. 27, from 1 to 3 p.m. The course fee is $69. Enroll at the Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd., Chiefland, or online at CFItraining.cf.edu (select Levy noncredit classes).
A list of supplies will be provided when you enroll in the course at the Levy Center. If you enroll online, contact the Levy Center to be mailed the list. Participants must have access to a sewing machine which they can bring to class on the days they are needed.
