Learn Simple Steps to Start Business with Levy Center

The College of Central Florida Levy Center and SCORE Gainesville, counselors to America’s small business, have joined forces to present Simple Steps to Starting Your Business.

This free introductory workshop will be held on Monday, Jan. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. The focus is on testing your business idea and identifying the key factors that influence start-up success.

This workshop will provide an overview of the skills and tools needed when deciding to start a business. Learn about the advantages and disadvantages of owning a business, the most profitable form for your business, and the fundamentals of formation, organization, marketing, cash flow and funding sources. At the conclusion, participants may sign up for additional business planning and mentoring sessions for a modest fee.
