Levy Center to Offer Computer Courses for Seniors

The College of Central Florida Levy Center will offer three computer courses designed just for seniors. These courses start with the basics and advance at a comfortable pace with the beginner in mind. Small classes offer the opportunity for one-on-one time with the instructor.
Computers for Seniors I will meet Fridays, Feb. 3-17, from 9 to 11 a.m. Learn the basics beginning with an overview of the computer including software systems, Internet usage, email and Windows.
Computers for Seniors II will meet Fridays, Feb. 24-March 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. Learn how to organize and customize a desktop, search the Internet more efficiently and perform downloads. You will also learn to cut and paste and use the Help features.
Computers for Seniors III will meet Fridays, March 23-April 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. This class introduces Microsoft Word and Publisher. Learn to create greeting cards, business cards, brochures, letters and more.
The fee for each course is $45. Enroll in person at the Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd. in Chiefland. The deadline for enrollment is one week before the start of each course. For more information call 352-493-9533.
