CFCC Theatre to Present 'The Miracle Worker'

Nov. 3, 2009

Central Florida Community College Theatre will present “The Miracle Worker,” the inspiring story of the transformational relationship between Helen Keller and teacher Anne Sullivan.

Keller was the first deaf and blind person to earn a bachelor’s degree and inspired generations as an author, lecturer and political activist until her death in 1968. Her story comes to life in “The Miracle Worker.”

The performances will take place in CFCC’s Fine Arts Auditorium, 3001 S.W. College Road, Ocala. Matinee performances will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7-8. Evening performances will be held at 7:30 Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 4-7. The Sunday performance will feature a sign language interpreter and when ordering tickets guests may indicate that they would like to be seated in view of the interpreter.

Tickets are $10 and can be reserved by calling the CFCC Box Office, 352-873-5810, or online at http://tickets.CF.edu.
