Mortgage Broker Course Offered at CFCC

The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is accepting registration for its Mortgage Broker course, which is held at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.

The 24-hour course runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on three consecutive days, with the next section starting on Friday, Aug. 8. The course fee is $190, and the required text is available at the campus bookstore for about $57.

The course covers Federal National Mortgage Association guidelines, credit reports, Housing and Urban Development settlement guide, mortgage broker license law, glossary, forms and more. It is the required course for the Florida Mortgage Broker’s Exam, and attendance is required at all three classes.

Other sections of this course are scheduled to begin Sept. 19, Oct. 17, Nov. 14 and Dec. 12.
