Courses Set With Insurance Organization

The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is offering two continuing education insurance courses on Friday, Feb. 12, in partnership with the Ocala chapter of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors. The sessions will be held 9:20 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. following the monthly breakfast meeting of NAIFA-Ocala at Ocala Elks Club & Lodge, 702 N.E. 25th Ave. Breakfast begins at 8 a.m.

LTC vs. Medicare and Medicaid covers the benefits of Medicare, Medicaid, long-term care and planning for later years. Premium Discounts and Ethics for Agents meets the premium discounts-mitigation options and ethics requirements for general lines and personal lines agents and insurance customer representatives. Each course is $69 and includes breakfast and lunch.

Courses on insurance qualify for technical business continuing professional education credit for Florida CPAs. Proof of attendance will be supplied. Enrollment will be accepted through noon on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
