Register Now for Insurance Courses at Ocala Campus

The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is accepting registration for insurance prelicensing courses which begin Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.

The Accredited Claims Adjuster course is for individuals interested in careers as independent or company claim adjusters. Upon successful completion of the course, students may obtain a license to adjust property and casualty claims for an insurance agency or company.

The Registered Customer Service Representative 4-40 course prepares individuals to work as licensed customer service representatives for a property and casualty insurance company or agency.

Upon successful completion of either course, individuals will be exempt from the state examination and examination fee for the applicable license.

Both courses will meet 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through Feb. 28. The fee for each course is $315. Enrollment will be accepted through noon on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
