Parent Education Class at Levy Center

The Central Florida Community College Levy Center will hold its next Parent Education and Family Stabilization class on Monday, Feb. 1, from 6 to 10 p.m. The course fee is $50.
This four-hour class is for court-referred, divorcing parents with minor children and for persons involved in paternity litigation. The course focuses on the impact of divorce on the children and presents parenting techniques to assist children in coping with the divorce process. It also provides parents with information to help them make responsible decisions regarding parenting and co-parenting.
The registration deadline is noon on Thursday, Jan. 28. Participants must provide the case number and the judge’s name at registration. To register, visit the Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd. in Chiefland, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. or Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 352-493-9533.
