CF Presents 'Cooking with the Calamari Sisters'

The College of Central Florida will bring “Cooking with the Calamari Sisters” to the community in February. The Performing Arts Series event will be presented on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 3 p.m. in the Curtis Peterson Auditorium, 3810 N. Educational Path in Lecanto and Monday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. Tickets are $26 each.

In this stage comedy, Delphine and Carmela Calamari’s public access cable cooking show, “Mangia Italiano,” cooks up family anecdotes, wacky dishes and crazy song-and-dance routines to favorite tunes from the Italian-American songbook and beyond. The sisters sing and dance their way through the preparation of four courses of Italian cuisine with such beloved Italian favorites as “Come On-A My House,” “Botcha Me,” “That’s Amore,” and of course, “Mambo Italiano!”
